Paolo Romanacci

Paolo Romanacci is Head of Enel Green Power North America, where he leads a team of over 700 people and oversees Enel Green Power’s renewable power generation business line in the US and Canada, where the company operates the continent’s fifth-largest portfolio of wind and solar plants.

Mr. Romanacci was Head of Renewable Projects Execution for North America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Prior to this, he was Head of Mexico for Enel Green Power where he led a team of over 450 people. He has 20 years of professional experience, ten of them with Enel, where he worked in various strategic roles.

In 2006, he joined Enel in Renewable Energy Business Development in Romania. In 2008, he served as Director of Business Development for Latin America, based in Brazil. Prior to holding the position as Director of Renewable Energy of Enel in Mexico and Central America, Mr. Romanacci led the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) business unit in Italy where he oversaw a team of 600 people and was responsible for more than 400 renewable plants. Prior to Enel, he worked for NASA (Washington, United States), Tec space Aero (Lieja, Belgium) and Altran Italia (Rome, Italy).

Mr. Romanacci holds a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautics and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza, and a qualification in Leadership for Energy Management from IESE Business School – SDA Bocconi.
