Andrew Flanagan

Andrew Flanagan is the Chief Operating Officer of RWE Clean Energy (“RWE”) and is a member of its Board of Directors.  As COO, Andrew has responsibility for the development, engineering, construction and operations of RWE’s 4.1 GW operating portfolio and it’s growth initiatives in North America.  Prior to joining RWE, Andrew held leadership positions with Leeward Energy and Invenergy focused on the development, construction, financing and operation of power generation projects.  

Andrew brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry in North America and has worked with various international teams in several countries across Europe. 

Andrew holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a BS from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and served eight (8) years in the United States Naval Reserve.
